Welcome Learner…………Your Mission – should you choose to accept it…………..

Your family has been planning to open a healthy food grill shop in the middle of a busy town called ‘Greasy Burger’. Yes, you’ve guessed it! The people of Greasy Burger Town are quite unhealthy ... hardly surprising when the town is full of junk food burger shops and fast food outlets selling processed meat products. Your family conducted surveys to find out whether their healthy food outlet would work and found that the majority of younger residents welcomed the idea ... so of course, the fast food outlets are opposed to the idea of a healthy food shop which they suspect, would lure young townspeople away from their own businesses!

Everything has been running smoothly up top now ... but you have 6 hours left and you have just received a phone call from the business suppliers saying that the van carrying the shop's promotional posters, business cards and logo designs has been involved in a mysterious accident and the delivery items have been ruined.

You have also been informed that the fast food rivals of Greasy Burger town may be involved in this attempted sabotage. The question is ... are YOU going to let them win or are you going to put them out of business and make Greasy Burger Town a healthier place to live?

You have been given 6 hours to help your family set up a healthy food business in the middle of ‘Greasy Burger Town Centre’.  There has been lots of market research conducted and the Town definitely needs a new healthy food shop. 

The Name of the business is ‘2 Good 4 you’ Healthy Food Grill. All of the posters the business cards and logo have been lost during delivery and the people of Greasy Burger Town do not know when the shop will open due to no publicity or posters – the only thing you have are the menus, the cooking appliances and utensils, and the food!  Your family needs to get these entire business documents ready within 6 hours before the Grand Opening!

All you have is a multimedia computer with lots of software on it like the Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and the Adobe suite amongst others and a colour laser printer with lots of different coloured paper and card.  Follow the instructions and double-click on the Flash Button links like the one below to access the tasks, resources and the help page which contains information on how to make the documents for the tasks. 

Remember to print out each task after you have completed it for evidence, so that you can get your certificate from your teacher.
